Dermalogica Sample Testing

Image
Heyyyy everyone! So as you can all see, this blog post is a review about some Dermalogica skin care samples that I won as part of a competition! But, before I go ahead, I want to just let you know that I cancelled all my monthly beauty box subscriptions. This is because I didn't feel like I was getting value for money. Like, don't get me wrong, the products were good and everything, but they were not the sort of products that I wanted. Most of it was skin care and moisturisers and stuff like that, but I don't really want or need any of that stuff. I was more hoping to get more makeup testers. So anyway, after my disastrous May Glossybox, where I didn't actually like a single product I got in it, I decided to cancel the subscription. That is also why you haven't seen a post about the May one as I didn't see the point as every product in it got a huge thumbs down. Anyyyyway... on to this blog post!! So yeah, as I was saying, I won these Dermalog

GLOSSYBOX!!

Heyyyyy everyone So this is a bit of an exciting one!! As you all know by now I had a subscription to Birchbox. Well That is now cancelled. Now I subscribe to Glossybox !! I received my first one in the post a couple of weeks ago, but only now have I just gotten around to trying out ALL the products. I have to say. I already LOVE IT. I've only had one (due the next one in a few days) and already the products are so much better for me. So onto the products I got in my first Glossybox. 1) Sport FX Double Time Brush 2) Model Co Contour Stick 3) Deliwash Haircare Cleansing Conditioner 4) Merci Handy Cherry Hand Gel 5) Rodial Glamolash XXL Mascara The first one I am going to review is in my opinion the best thing I got out of this Glossybox.. the Sport FX Double Time Brush. This is the BEST foundation brush I have ever used!! Its SO soft and it blends so well! Have you ever like rubbed your cheek against a cat? A strange comparison but that is exactly what i

April Birchbox!

Image
Hello again! So as I mentioned in the previous blog I am now going to do the reviews for April Birchbox. Again, just want to say sorry for taking to long to upload the reviews, I hope that 2 together will make up for it! However, I do want to add that I am thinking of cancelling my Birchbox subscription and changing to Glossybox as I have heard that it is more makeup based. As much as I like the makeup that Birchbox offers, I'm just not as interested in the skincare products that I get from it. As good as they are, I would just rather receive more makeup products to try. I also wasn't very impressed with this months Birchbox, as pretty as it is, none of the products are ones that I would really use. Of course for some people it would probably be great, but yeah, for me I'm not sure I'm feeling Birchbox anymore 😔 So yeah anyway, onto the Birchbox. These are the products I got in my April Birchbox; 1) Manna Kadar Cosmetics HD Perfection Powder 2) Eye Define C

March Birchbox!

Image
Heyyyy everyone!! I am soooo sorry that it is so late, I have just had so much on that it completely slipped my mind and I just never got round to it! So because I didn't do the March one I am going to do this post for the March Birchbox and another separate post for the April one. So here goes; This is my March Birchbox. In this one, I got 1) The NEW Benefit Double The Lip in Pink Thrills 2) Balance Me Instant Lift Primer 3) Korres Santorini Vine Shower Gel 4) Amika The Shield Style Extending Spray 5) Marcelle Gentle Make Up Remover So that is what I got in my March Birchbox. Now, here come the reviews!! 1) Benefit Double The Lip in Pink Thrills Okay, so this product I'm not too sure on. When it was on I did actually quite like it and it did last quite a long time, however... It was a bit on the fiddly side to apply.. its really good that it has the lip liner and lip stick all in one and it actually makes it turn into quite a nice colour. But anyway, when

Review of the new Showcase Cinema De Lux in Southampton

Image
Heyyyy again 👋 So its kinda crazy, I haven't blogged in like 3-4 weeks and now you're getting 2 consecutive ones!!! 😋 So yeah, as you can tell by the title of the blog, I am going to review the NEW Showcase Cinema De Lux in the NEW Southampton West Quay Watermark. So yeah; for those that are wondering, the film I went to watch is Fifty Shades Darker, and don't worry, there are no spoilers in the blog! So anyway, we booked the tickets online which was really straight forward, and it gave us a code to print them off with, which again, was really quick and easy. You can also choose to print them off yourself if you want to. When we got there we found it was a bit hard to find the way as its right of the back of the building that you have to go into. When we managed to find it we went to get our popcorn and drinks which as per any normal cinema, was slightly over priced.  We got a small mixed sweet and salted popcorn which was about £4. I wouldn't say you got

My Second Birchbox!

Image
Hellooooo 😁 So yeah I haven't posted in a long time as I have been very busy with various things so apologies about that! Since my last post I have received my 2nd Birchbox so I am going to review the products I received! In February's box I received 5 items; 1) POP Beauty Eyeshadow Trio in Champagne Mocha 2)  Spectrum Collections Mableous C06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush 3) Beaver Professional Hydro Nutritive Reparing Conditioner 4) Vasanti Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator 5) KEEOME Hydration Mask So the first item on my list to review is the POP beauty eyeshadow; This gets a huge thumbs down from me. I really didn't like this at all. It didn't blend very well and it rubbed off very quickly. I had to literally layer it on for you to even see that I had any eye shadow on at all, and then yeah as I say, it was impossible to blend without rubbing your eyes raw.  I even tried a couple of different brushes to see if it made a difference, but it didn't I didn't

Jamberry nail wrap review

Helloooooo 👅 Another blog post!! I'm on fireeeeeeeeeeeeee lately! 💥 This one is beauty related but it isn't makeup, in this post I am going to be reviewing Jamberry Nail Wraps . So first of all, a bit of info about them; They are kind of like stickers that you apply to your nails. If they are applied properly, they can look really really nice, and they can last for a good couple of weeks! When you first start doing them they can be a bit tricky and fiddly to apply but when you've done it a couple of times you soon get used to it and can get quite speedy. The wraps come in big sheets, out of which you can get 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. Applying them is really straight forward, its basically a case of prepping your nail, choosing the best size wrap for your nail, apply it to your nail with an orange stick, and blow dry it in 3 sections, (middle, then either side) for between 2-5 seconds, applying pressure each time.  You then move onto the next nail and
