My first Birchbox!

Hellooo again 😎

So in my first post I mentioned that I had signed up to Birchbox and received my first package.

In this post I am going to explain which products I got and write about some of them.
Since I only received it today I haven't had a chance to use all of them yet so I will do another post about them soon.

This is the cute little box that my goodies arrived in. It has a handy little drawer and would make a good storage box!

Below is a picture of the items I received.
Left to right:
1) Merci Handy Flower Power hand and nail cream.
2) Beauty Protector Leave In Conditioner (haven't used)
3) Lord & Berry Concealer (haven't used)
4) Voucher for Hello Fresh and BIRCHBOX (Haven't used)
5) Ciate London Fierce Flicks Pen Eyeliner

6) Sample of NUXE PARIS Huile Prodigieuse
7) Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo (haven't used)

Here I am going to do a review of the items I have used...

First up, the Merci Handy Flower Power hand and nail cream.
Okay, so firstly, this product smells A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
It is flowery and its powerful. Not only that, but the smell stays on your hand for a long time.
I applied it when I got home about 4 hours ago, and I can still smell it on my hands. That is after cooking chilli steak as well!
Secondly, this product makes your hands feel oh so soft, (I cannot comment on how it makes my nails feel as I have nail wraps on!!) It did feel a little bit oily to begin with, which may have been my fault as I got a bit excited and used too much....... 😂
Anyway, after I rubbed it in, it made my hands feel lovely and smooth, and as I've already said, it smells gorgeous.
I would defo recommend this!

The next product on my list is Ciate London Fierce Flicks Pen Eyeliner.
Sadly, this product gets a no from me, In fairness I have only mused it once, but I found the pen tip to be quite dry, and I ended up having to drag it across my eyelid.
I did get a pretty good flick, but after about 10 minutes it started to crack and didn't really look very nice.
Now, I must mention I'm not the best in the world at doing flicks, but I mange to do better ones with my usual liquid eyeliner which is a good old £2.99 one from Collection 2000 at Superdrug.

This is the look I managed to create using the Ciate pen >>

Anyway, that brings me to the end of this particular blog post!
I hope you have enjoyed my review of these products,
Alsooooo, as I am new to this, I'm not sure how much writing is too much writing.. would you prefer shorter reviews? Or are you happy with an in depth review?
Please feel free to leave a comment with some constructive criticism.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this!
